Fogo Airport

Fogo domestic airport joined the VINCI Airports network in July 2023. The airport, also known as São Filipe aerodrome, is located on the island of Fogo, meaning fire, less than 2 km south-east of the center of São Filipe, the archipelago’s third oldest city.

Fogo airport has a runway 1,500 metres long and 30 metres wide, and can accommodate up to three airplanes.
