Maio Airport

Maio domestic airport is located on the island whose name it bears, and was inaugurated in 2005. The runway is 1,200 meters long and 30 meters wide. As an airfield, it has the capacity to accommodate two ATR72s per operation. In 2019, the airfield welcomed 10,043 passengers, many of whom wanted to get to know the island, which boasts immense beaches of golden sand and various shades of blue, ideal for beach and water sports enthusiasts.
