Techo International Airport

The major investments made in recent years in Cambodia have ushered in a new era for the country’s civil aviation with the inauguration of Techo International Airport in September 2025, which now replaces the former Phnom Penh airport. This new infrastructure significantly enhances the country’s capacity and its role as a regional hub. Thanks to the operational excellence of its teams, Cambodia Airports has been selected to operate Techo International Airport, the new airport complex in Phnom Penh, which commenced operations on September 9, 2025.
Located south of the capital, Techo International Airport offers, from its very first phase, a capacity of over 13 million passengers per year. It has been designed to support the sustained growth of Cambodian air traffic, driven in part by the marketing strategy of Cambodia Airports, VINCI Airports local subsidiary. This modern and flexible infrastructure embodies Cambodia’s ambition and the expertise of VINCI Airports. Through Cambodia Airports, which also develops and operates Sihanoukville Airport, it will continue to provide passengers with a seamless and high-quality travel experience.
