Rennes Bretagne Airport
Created in 1933, Rennes Bretagne Airport serves destinations all year round with direct scheduled flights to France, Europe and internationally.
In 2024, Rennes Airport welcomed nearly more than 500,000 passengers. Rennes Airport has been ISO 14001 certified since 2013, attesting to the efficiency of the airport’s environmental management system. With the aim of decarbonising its activity (already 50% less carbon emissions than in 2016), Rennes airport is gradually replacing its fleet of thermal runway vehicles with electric vehicles, the lighting in the terminal, runway and offices has been replaced with LEDs and 10% of electricity production comes from renewable sources.
These initiatives have enabled the airport to achieve Airport Carbon Accredition Level 3 certification in 2022, demonstrating the airport’s efforts to decarbonise its activities and involve its stakeholders in this goal.
